The Jaisalmer central co-operative bank ltd. was established in the year 1988 at Jaisalmer, the golden city of Rajasthan, and started functioning from 20.09.1988 Under the three-tier structure at the state level (The Rajasthan state co-operative bank at the state level, central co¬operative bank at district level & primary agriculture co-operative credit societies at village level) bank was committed to advance short term agriculture loans to farmers through PACS.
Bank, later on, started loaning for agriculture helping activities and non-agriculture activities other than crop loans. RBI issued a license to bank LIC No-RPCD(JAI) CO-OP 28 dated January! 06/2012. Bank at present providing all types of loan, banking facilities in urban &rural areas through its 10 branches fully computerized including with RTGS, NEFT, ECS, etc. facilities.
The bank is affiliated with 120 working PACS & 7 newly registered co-operative societies. The registered societies will start functioning very soon. Bank continuously working with providing credit through its attractive schemes to farmers, SHG, JLG, etc. in both of rural & urban areas. In addition to that also facilitating the benefits of different insurance schemes launched by the central/ state Government.
